FULL VIEW, please.

A speed painting. I know it's messy but I still like it.

Please don't comment on the water. I can draw realistic water fine, but I needed to make it fit the rest of the picture.

And before anyone else does... OMG the crabs are so cute, the crying one looks like it just swallowed a bug and is going to suffer from bugliosis for the rest of it's miserable and pathetically short life!!!!!!! I want to keep it in a jar, and then feed it a pickle.

I was working on a different picture when I realised how long it had been since the last time I submitted something. And a crab giving another crab a heart balloon just seemed a good idea. I mean who dosen't like crabs or heart balloons?

The story behind it? Well the crying crab had come across a sand castle earlier in the day, before he had become known as the crying crab. He lived there blissfully for several happy minutes, denying entrance to everyone including his best friend, the crab with the heart balloon. And then tragedy struck, as the raging tide washed the sand castle away. Alone and homeless, Crying Crab proceeded to sulk (entirely for our viewing pleasure.) Heart-Balloon Crab came to see how his old chum was doing. Noticing the anguish his friend was enduring, he decided to give away his most prized possession. Neither of them knew that if you let go of a balloon it floats away. And then they were both heartbroken.
